    This study aims to determine the results of learning Arabic before and after the implementation of out-door teaching strategies, as well as the effect of implementing out-door teaching strategies on students' Arabic learning outcomes at Fajrul Iman Islamic Boarding School, Patumbak District, Deli Serdang Regency. The population in this study were all students of class VII. The research sample was determined as many as 28 students. Determined the sample using a randomized class technique. This research method is an experimental method. The data collection tool used was a test of learning outcomes in Arabic in the form of multiple choice objective, as many as 20 questions were tested before and after learning using the out door strategy. The conclusions obtained from this study are: the average value of the Arabic learning outcomes (pretest) of students before being taught using the out door teaching strategy is 63.39 category C (enough), the average value of the Arabic learning outcomes (posttest) of students after taught using out door teaching strategies is 80.17 category B (good). The results of students' Arabic learning after using the out door teaching strategy increased by 47.31% in the category of moderate improvement. The effect of implementing out door learning strategies on the learning outcomes of students in class VII MTs Fajrul Iman Islamic Boarding School, Patumbak District, Deli Serdang Regency in the 2019/2020 learning year was 55.84% So that out door teaching strategies are effectively used in improving Arabic learning outcomes

This study aimed to collect and analyze research results related to the damage to residual stands caused by RIL in the natural production forest management in Indonesia. This study used a systematic review method. A systematic literature search was carried out at data sources such as Google Scholar, Research Gate, Science Direct, and SINTA, which were published between 1996-2021.     Purpose of study: The research aims to determine the transformation of character education in expertise courses with al-Khairiyah's historical material as a source of character education in increasing understanding of local values. Methodology: The sampling technique uses purposive sampling and snowball, by conducting interviews, observation and documentation studies. In the process of working the data are analyzed using Miles and Huberman's models through the stages of data collection, data reduction, data display, and concluding the reality on the ground that is natural and actual in a comprehensive and intact manner described. Main Findings: The results obtained, namely STIT Al Khairiyah, established that the history of al-Khairiyah is a subject that must be taken by every student in the 1st and 2nd semester. Applications: One effort that must be made in that direction is to build character in all aspects of people's lives, especially through educational institutions. The history of Al-Khairiyah was designed in developing SAP and RPS in expertise courses by lecturers with approaches and models lectures based on local material. In transforming character education in skills courses at STIT al-Khairiyah Cilegon, students understand more about the character values contained in the history of al-khairiyah

    This project deals with matter pertaining to the application of search engine for WAV files. The objective of this project is to create an application that is capable of searching for WAVfiles by comparing the criteria of the input and the WAVfiles in the database. The emphasisis placed on the aims at providing user with the technologythat will help them to analyze while comparing the differences between the input given and the original WAV file in the database. This application is meant to assist user that have problem searching for the matching title of a particularWAVfiles. The main features of the application are that I) it receives any kind of input form from the microphone, 2) it then compares and matchesthe criteria ofWAVfiles from triedatabase using specified method. The scope of study is the process of how audio recognition work and how it could be compared based on certain identified criteria to find the matches. It basically focuses and emphasizes on WAV file format comparison but in a broaderperspective of research in WAV file criteria and attributes. I don't have any specified framework in doingmy project, yet I follow iterative guidelines where muchof the processes are done in parallel and without planning. The finding will be focusing on the issues on how to capture, compare and match WAV files format Basically, by using the underlying concepts the project will be able to compare the inputWAV format and match with the original intended song easily and faster

    Some studies can confirmed that micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs) represent themselves as highly significant collective actors of developments in all geographic contexts. Although the studies that see contributions of university in the MSME empowerment is still minimal and less comprehensive. As an intellectual actor, the university has a wide range of areas of expertise that can be exploited more broadly to the community than to the extent of classroom learning. And through a intensive, specific and distinctive assistance model, this study would like to explore what and how the role of students as a representation of the university as well as a agent of change in empowering micro enterprises. The method used in this study is a qualitative by interviewing some informants in the Community Development Program 2017 initiated by the University of Prasetiya Mulya which is directly related to the process of empowering micro enterprises. This study found some of the dominant and specific roles such as educators, researchers and evaluators. Coupled with several empowerment roles such as building relationships and consensus as well as providing technical assistance related to some aspects in business management. As well as other common roles that appear in the assistance process like enablers, motivators, facilitators, initiators, and brokers. With a live-in model in business partners’ house adopted by the Community Development Program, students have many opportunities and roles to explore methods of enhancing the capacity of business partners through intensive assistance and practical learning in developing a business

    The Language Choice as A Reflection of Islamic Communication in The Quran-Japanese Translation

    Ittishâl in Arabic language means message connectivity within a communication process. In Islam, a communication process requires the precision of language users in choosing a language. Language choice in Islamic communication aims at maintaining a positive relationship among humans (hablumminannâs), and humans’ sincere love to God (hablumminallâh). This qualitative research which data source is from surah An-Nisâʼ discusses how the Quran translated into Japanese language distinguishes language choices for humans (as God Servants) and those intended to praise God. There are noun word choices for God which are initiated with the kanji marker go/o (御) and not found in those referring to humans. Furthermore, there are respectful verbs (songkeigo) to praise the God’s actions, yet not for humans’. These language choice’s differences are intended to educate humans not to be arrogant or to always be humble because only God is the Sublime. The other objective is as the communication guidance in Islam, especially in performing prayers to always use polite languages to praise God that a sincere love will be created from the servants to the God

    Competency improvement through internship: An evaluation of corporate social responsibility program in vocational school

    The high unemployment rate in Indonesia derived from vocational school graduates could be alleviated through internship as a part of Corporate Social Responsibility program that deployed by company together with school to equip its students or graduates with set of competences, therefore they will be competent and able to compete in job market, especially in the era of disruptive technologies. This applied research of evaluation using qualitative approach aimed to evaluate the input and process of the corporate social responsibility program in vocational internship conducted by an oil and gas manufacturing company in Indonesia. The results of this revealed some inputs that were the source of program success and processes that determined the quality of the program. Aspects of input generally met the ideal criteria such as competent program staff, participant characteristic reflecting program objectives, flexible and synchronized curriculum, adequate facility, and available procedure. Aspects of the process complied with regulations and procedures as well. Both aspects resulted the achievement of outcome that exceeded expectation such as competence improvement, cost saving, awards and provide information to be replicated by other institutions

    Every individual who is experiencing pain has organ dysfunction, psychological discomfort, namely the patient's biological-psychological-social and spiritual disorders. Nurses are health workers for 24 hours dealing with inpatients who can help fulfill biological-psychological-social and spiritual needs. This community service program at Tugu Ibu Hospital by a team of Uhamka lecturers aims to provide education and guidance to nurses in meeting spiritual needs, including the practice of tayammum and prayer services for inpatients. The method used is the training conducted on July 21, 2021 through a virtual zoom meeting due to the Covid 19 pandemic and PPKM is still being implemented with participants from the nursing leadership, the Training and Education section and 34 nursing staff. The media used for education are materials in the form of ppt and pocket books that have been distributed prior to the training. The results of interviews with several informants who can represent other participants that participants understand and are motivated to help patients carry out tayammum and prayer. In August 2021, observations were carried out for 10 days in practice, not all treatment rooms were able to carry out the results of the training, especially the isolation room for Covid 19 patients. Suggestions for the Education and Training section to make a program mandatory fiqh training of patient worship and the nursing field should include tayamum and prayer assistance in planning and implementation nursing car

    AbstrakPengucapan atau pelafalan telah menerima kurang atensi dalam Pengajaran Bahasa Inggris. Saat ini, jarang ditemukan seorang guru bahasa Inggris yang masih memberikan latihan pengucapan terutama di tingkat sekolah menengah atas. Meskipun kurikulum 2013 menyatakan bahwa komponen bahasa Inggris harus diintegrasikan dengan keterampilan bahasa Inggris lainnya, komponen kecil ini tidak boleh diabaikan karena jika peserta didik tidak dapat bersuara atau berbicara bahasa Inggris dengan jelas dan benar, hal ini dapat menyebabkan kesalahpahaman atau komunikasi tidak akan pernah terjadi. Studi pendahuluan telah dilakukan di sebuah sekolah menengah atas di Mojokerto. Hasilnya menunjukkan bahwa hanya satu guru bahasa Inggris yang memberikan latihan pelafalan kepada muridnya. Dengan demikian, sebuah studi kasus dilakukan untuk menyelidiki guru bahasa Inggris yang memberikan praktik pelafalan siswa-siswanya dalam hal jenis latihan apa yang diberikan, kapan latihan itu diberikan, dan bagaimana latihan itu disampaikan. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode kualitatif dimana data diperoleh melalui pengamatan langsung dari enam kelas. Juga, pengamatan dilakukan pada tiga materi (Pengumuman, Narasi, dan Penghargaan Lagu) dalam enam minggu. Temuan menunjukkan bahwa guru menerapkan metode yang sama di semua kelas. Latihan pengucapan yang diberikan oleh guru adalah latihan kata-kata yang dilakukan di hampir semua pertemuan. Namun, latihan itu tidak dilakukan pada akhir pelajaran. Selain itu, teknik yang digunakan adalah teknik pengulangan yang mengikuti prosedur dan menggunakan media untuk mendukung aktivitas latihan pengucapan.Kata Kunci: pengucapan, praktik pengucapan, latihan pengucapan. AbstractPronunciation has received less attention in English Language Teaching. Nowadays, it was rare to find an English teacher who still provided pronunciation practice especially in senior high school level. Although 2013 curriculum stated that English components should be integrated with other English skills, this tiny component should not be neglected because if learners could not sound or speak English clearly and correctly, either this can lead to a misunderstanding or communication would never happen. A preliminary study has been conducted in a senior high school in Mojokerto. The result showed that only one English teacher provided pronunciation practice to his student. Thus, a case study was conducted to investigate the English teacher who provided his students pronunciation practice in terms of the kind of the practice, when the practice was given, and how it was delivered. The methods used was qualitative method in which the data was obtained through direct observation from six classes. Also, the observation was done at three materials (Announcement, Narrative, and Song Appreciation) in six weeks. The findings showed that the teacher applied the same method in all classes. The pronunciation practice given by the teacher was words practice which was done in almost all meetings. However, the practice was not done at the end of the lesson. Besides, the technique used was drilling technique that following the procedures and using media to support the pronunciation practice activity.Keywords: pronunciation, pronunciation teaching, pronunciation practic

    Examining ICT-Mediated Cultural Factors for Subgroup Impact on Virtual Team Dynamics

    As virtual teams are inherently heterogeneous and distributed in nature they have a greater tendency to fracture intosubgroups. Proper management of these subgroups is critical as they are often more detrimental than beneficial. Research thatsystematically examines subgroup formation is limited in identifying factors that influence the negative or positive impact ofsubgroups. To address this gap, we propose a new model based on Social Categorization Theory, Faultline Theory and thediversity literature. Our model takes into account the temporal impact of different cultural factors, namely surface and deeplevel culture diversity, with the alignment of other attributes on subgroup saliency. It also captures the interaction of varyinglevels of culture (national, organizational, functional) and their impact on subgroup dynamics. Additionally, the modelrepresents the norms of technology use as a mediator for the impact of subgroup saliency on team performance
